Here I am introducing, Guide for porting Custom recovery so let's get started.
This Guide is working only for the same chipset like
MT6582 To MT6582
MT6592 To MT6592
MT6572 to MT6572
MT6580 to MT6580
etc
Required Tools
1.Windows
2.Carliv Image Kitchen v1.1 download here
3.Brain.jar
Now you are Learning How to port Custom recovery on www.shoutricks.com
Lets Starts
- First Download CarlivImageKitchen Tools and Extract on your PC
- Then Put Your Stock recovery in recovery resources folder
Then Open Carliv.bat
- Now you can find new comment windows in Desktop
- Next, you do it type "R" for select recovery
- then type "1" and select recovery.img after doing this you can find the next cmd windows
- Now type 1 for Unpack recovery.img and press Enter
- then you find a new folder file with the name- "recovery"
- Now Copy this folder in Another location and delete this folder
- you Need any unported TWRP recovery for Porting for your Device
- Do it same with twrp
- rename it to recovery.img and paste to recovery resources folder
- Now Unpack it
following Next Step ---
- Now Copy Below files from Stock recovery to port recovery
- Now Open ramdisk folder and Replace ueventd.rc
- Then Open Carliv.bat and Repack Your Recovery
- you can find your ported recovery in an Output folder
